Voting for the boys

Here's a letter I wrote to Connie (whether he'll ever see it, who knows... I'm working on my letters to Primetime Live & Fox as well -- anyone know of any other good sources to write to -- let me know):
April 29th, 2005.
My name is L. J. Wilson, 23 yrs old, from Vancouver (Canada).
We (your fans) are so proud of you for all of your success on American Idol—and with PFTSOB!
In our eyes, you epitomize an idol—you took the judges' comments to heart every week and every week you brought something exciting and new to the stage. This may sound cheesy but I can honestly say that you are unlike any other contestant ever on the show. You’ve the talent, the energy, the charisma, the charm, and the stamina of a fantastic singer/entertainer and you will go far.
Your elimination was a shock and a heartbreaker! Honestly, I don't know what happened, but I do know that you left the show way too soon. Yours and your mother's devestated faces are etched into our minds permanently; however, we'll remember you more for your great and daring performances. The show will not be the same without you and many of us are signing petitions and writing letters trying to get you back on the American Idol stage as we strongly believe that something was amiss with the results’ show. (Many of us tried calling to vote for you and couldn’t get through and are happy that Primetime Live/ABC News is doing an investigation into the voting matters of American Idol this season). With all that said, you don't really need the show—you may even be too good for it—it’s just that we will miss seeing and hearing you every week.
We wish you all the best with whatever lies ahead for you, your band--Pray For the Soul of Betty--, and your family.
L. J. Wilson
(Lena Jane Wilson)
PS Please come up to Canada to sing sometime—until then, I’ll just have to listen from afar.
